HLT54115 Diploma of Nursing
Quick Course Guide
Today Navitas announced that it has finalised an agreement to transfer its Health Skills Australia (HSA) Melbourne operations to Holmesglen Institute of TAFE. This agreement will enable current HSA Melbourne students to complete their nursing diploma studies at the current Bourke Street campus, with minimal disruption.
During the coming months, students will be assisted to transfer their studies to either Holmesglen or an education provider of their choice, and classes will continue at HSA Melbourne’s Bourke Street campus according to normal schedules.
HSA has a long and proud history of delivering quality health education since 2005. In July this year, Navitas announced that the college, which operates campuses in Melbourne and Brisbane, would be sold or closed as a result of Australian Government reforms to the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
In Queensland, HSA Brisbane students have been supported to complete their studies with Queensland TAFE or an alternative provider.
While Navitas is disappointed not to be continuing delivery of VET nursing programs in Victoria and Queensland, we are pleased to have secured solutions that enable current students to successfully complete their studies with quality education providers, and with minimal disruption.
